Hey there!
Just a quick update to let you know that the remaining packaging is complete, and we're set to resume pilot run shipping via air by tomorrow. The shipment is expected to arrive within the updated delivery window:
-
April 19-24: Pilot run delivered – 300 backers receive their orders
Additionally, here's some footage from the factory, where Diceomatics are being prepared for shipment:
Tariff concerns:
Due to recent sudden tariffs, we have updated our Diceomatics fulfillment and shipping plan.
- Our pilot shipment is still heading to the U.S. and won't be subject to import tariffs.
- Regarding mass fulfillment, import regulations will change at the end of this month. As a result, any units shipped from May onward will be subject to the new tariffs.
That said, to address some of your concerns:
➡️ Your price will not change due to these tariffs.
➡️ We’ll be prioritizing international orders for now, and we’re keeping a close eye on shipping rates in case they come down.
Thanks for your continued patience and support — we’re doing everything we can to get your orders out smoothly and as quickly as possible.

You know, I get it that these are uncertain times and the tariffs really suck, but you know what would have prevented this? Getting us the product we backed in the timeframe we were initially promised. Some of us are coming up on almost a year’s delay.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t prioritize a larger “pilot run” to get more US orders out before the tariffs take effect, or even scrap the pilot run altogether to get more out.
I know this time things are beyond your control, but hearing there’s going to be yet another delay is incredibly frustrating.
How do we know where we are in the backer list?
Thanks for the update! I appreciate your transparency and I wish others understood that we are backing people who are likely newer to the processes of not only starting a business but designing a product and executing all that entails. Sure, it was expected in March…. “Expected.” There is always the chance of roadblocks. I never expect anything from Kickstarter to come by the expected date. I’ve gotten some early and anywhere up to one product literally two years late! Have patience and trust the process! It will be great when it arrives!
To be clear, you had originally projected that we’d be receiving our Diceomatics last year. Had you not prototyped for longer than necessary on the items we were already willing to receive as originally presented on Kickstarter, it could be argued that we wouldn’t be in this situation.
It seems unfair to potentially upcharge US backers due to easily preventable delays.
Thank you for the swift reply. Looking forward to receiving our rewards.
