Yarro Studios Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 2024


1. Purpose and Scope

Our refund policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with applicable laws. This policy applies to all purchases made through yarrostudios.com and Kickstarter. Different policies apply based on the type of purchase: “In-stock,” “Pre-order,” or “Kickstarter.” Please review the relevant section for your specific purchase type.


2. Refund Policy by Purchase Type


A. In-Stock Items

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Defective or Damaged Products: If the product arrives damaged or defective.

Incorrect Items Received: If the item received is not what was ordered.

Change of Mind: A refund may be granted for a change of mind, subject to approval and a potential restocking fee.

2. Time Frame for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of receiving the item. If 30 days have passed, refunds will only be considered under special circumstances.

3. Condition of Items

Items must be unused, in the same condition received, and in original packaging. Items showing signs of use or not in their original condition may be subject to partial refunds or may not be eligible for a refund.


B. Pre-order Items

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Pre-order Cancellations: Pre-orders can be refunded before manufacturing for the order has started. Once manufacturing has started, customers will need to wait until they receive the item before starting the refund request process. After receiving the item, the refund request will be subject to the 30-day window.

Defective or Damaged Products: If the product arrives damaged or defective.

Incorrect Items Received: If the item received is not what was ordered.

2. Time Frame for Refund Requests

Refund requests can be made within 30 days of receiving the item or anytime before manufacturing for the order has started.

3. Condition of Items

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.



C. Kickstarter Projects

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are subject to Kickstarter’s policies and guidelines. For more information, please refer to Kickstarter’s policy page or contact us directly at support@yarrostudios.com.


3. Exclusions

The following items are non-refundable across all purchase types:

Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are generally not refundable, except under special circumstances.

Digital Products: Digital downloads and online content are non-refundable once accessed.

Custom Orders: Items that are customized or personalized are non-refundable unless defective or incorrect.

Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.


4. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Contact our customer service at support@yarrostudios.com.

2. Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order number, etc.).

3. Complete the refund request form provided by our support team.

4. Refund requests will be reviewed by our team before processing.


5. Refund Method

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a specific number of days.


6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

1. Check your bank account and credit card statement again.

2. Contact your credit card company, as processing times can vary.

3. Contact your bank; there may be a delay in processing before your refund is officially posted.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at support@yarrostudios.com and send your item to: 1280 S 1380 W #12, Orem, UT 84058, USA.


8. Shipping Costs

Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If a refund is granted, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

Exchanges: If the exchange is due to a defective or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping costs. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

International Orders: Customers outside the United States should be aware that return shipping costs may vary significantly based on location, and any customs duties or fees are non-refundable.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
