Dear backers and customers,
We want to take a moment to update you on the current tariff situation and how it is affecting the Gamefold project.
As many of you may know, the United States recently imposed tariffs of up to 145% on goods imported from China. This has more than doubled the original production cost of each table. The impact has been significant across many industries, and like others, we have been directly affected.
We completely understand your concerns and frustrations, and we want you to know that we hear you.
You might be wondering, “What if you had shipped sooner?” It is a fair question. The honest answer is that we chose to address some early design flaws. Not because we were being overly picky, but because we explored several design solutions that required careful testing and verification before moving forward. While this did delay shipping, we strongly believe it was the right decision to ensure quality.
That said, production has not stopped.
We currently have two containers full of Gamefold tables arriving in the US in the next two weeks, with more on the way. International orders are already shipping out, and we are continuing to produce and hold United States orders as we monitor the evolving tariff situation and wait for more stable conditions.
The current tariff situation is frustrating and unpredictable, but we are exploring every possible solution. This includes alternate sourcing, long-term production strategies, and cost management to keep moving forward without compromising the experience you backed.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief in this project. We are doing everything we can to deliver the Gamefold you have been waiting for.
More updates coming soon.

So does this mean that we all in the US will be charged 145% more? If so I’m cancelling right away. Back in September 2023 the preorder was set to get here by May 2024 so now I probably won’t get it until July or August 2025? Maybe September. And so you’re going to wait out these tarrifs? They won’t get better and you’re going to lose money if you’re going to hold these indefinitely. The are a lot of other readily available gaming tables out there. At this point I could have learned how to make a table and then made myself one.
At first I was supportive. But then I looked at your website and see that you’re still selling tables. With a delivery date of May. Maybe you should update that page.
Reposting this notice with additional details for @everyone.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and concerns.
We know this situation has been frustrating for many of you, and we really appreciate your patience as we work through it. We’re doing everything we can to make things right and get all orders delivered.
Just to clarify, the current issue only affects US orders. That’s why international orders are continuing to be fulfilled as usual, since they don’t go through the US from China. We’re actively working on this and plan to provide an updated estimated shipping timeline based on the current circumstances.
When we say international, we mean any order outside the United States.
There’s no estimated timeline yet for when US orders will move forward, but we’re actively working on solutions to avoid long delays. US orders continue to be produced, and we’ll keep you updated with any progress or changes as soon as we have them.
As for shipping confirmation emails for US orders that got dispatched, there was a recent change on the logistics side, and the team is currently working on sending those out. Thanks for bearing with us while that gets sorted.
We also appreciate everyone who’s shared helpful ideas. Please know we are considering all possible options and are still fully committed to getting every order delivered, no exceptions.
For refund inquiries, please email us at support@yarrostudios.com so we can review your case based on our refund policy. You can also reach out there if you need to update your shipping address or have any other questions/concerns.
Thanks again for sticking with us.

What’s the timeline planned for the European shippings?
I was one of the kickstarter ones and was just wondering when you are planning to ship tables to europe?
So, if I ordered and paid for my table in January and was told delivery would be February only to find out delivery wouldn’t be until May or June. am I to understand now that I’ll be charged for the additional tariff you’ll have to pay if my order hasn’t shipped yet from China. or will it be on hold until some unforeseen time when the tariffs are reduced?
