We want to take a moment to update you on the current tariff situation and how it is affecting the Gamefold project.
As many of you may know, the United States recently imposed tariffs of up to 145% on goods imported from China. This has more than doubled the original production cost of each table. The impact has been significant across many industries, and like others, we have been directly affected.
We completely understand your concerns and frustrations, and we want you to know that we hear you.
You might be wondering, “What if you had shipped sooner?” It is a fair question. The honest answer is that we chose to address some early design flaws. Not because we were being overly picky, but because we explored several design solutions that required careful testing and verification before moving forward. While this did delay shipping, we strongly believe it was the right decision to ensure quality.
That said, production has not stopped.
We currently have two containers full of Gamefold tables arriving in the US in the next two weeks, with more on the way. International orders are already shipping out, and we are continuing to produce and hold United States orders as we monitor the evolving tariff situation and wait for more stable conditions.
The current tariff situation is frustrating and unpredictable, but we are exploring every possible solution. This includes alternate sourcing, long-term production strategies, and cost management to keep moving forward without compromising the experience you backed.

I totally understand the frustration the tarrifs have caused. It is unfortunate and not your companies decision.
I would still love to know where our order stands at this moment and when we can expect delivery. We backed gamefold and ordered our gamefold table in April 2024.
Also, the cost is going to stay the same, correct? And only affect future buyers?
This has gone on way to long and if the cost is going up I want my money back please it’s been about a year now.
I simply don’t have another 600$ for the two tables I ordered almost 2 years ago at this point. Doubled your cost is crazy.
Could you elaborate on what “produce and hold” means? It seems to mean you’re not shipping them yet because you’re hoping the tariffs go down, am I correct?
Thank you for the update, and this definitely makes the most sense. I am extremely frustrated on multiple fronts, but this is the only prudent course of action right now.
