Dear backers and customers,
We want to take a moment to update you on the current tariff situation and how it is affecting the Gamefold project.
As many of you may know, the United States recently imposed tariffs of up to 145% on goods imported from China. This has more than doubled the original production cost of each table. The impact has been significant across many industries, and like others, we have been directly affected.
We completely understand your concerns and frustrations, and we want you to know that we hear you.
You might be wondering, “What if you had shipped sooner?” It is a fair question. The honest answer is that we chose to address some early design flaws. Not because we were being overly picky, but because we explored several design solutions that required careful testing and verification before moving forward. While this did delay shipping, we strongly believe it was the right decision to ensure quality.
That said, production has not stopped.
We currently have two containers full of Gamefold tables arriving in the US in the next two weeks, with more on the way. International orders are already shipping out, and we are continuing to produce and hold United States orders as we monitor the evolving tariff situation and wait for more stable conditions.
The current tariff situation is frustrating and unpredictable, but we are exploring every possible solution. This includes alternate sourcing, long-term production strategies, and cost management to keep moving forward without compromising the experience you backed.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief in this project. We are doing everything we can to deliver the Gamefold you have been waiting for.
More updates coming soon.

Just to be clear, it sounds like the message here is order fulfillment in the US is on hold and the tables are going to be stored in a warehouse until the tariffs on China are reduced/removed or they can be built from scratch in another location. Is this an accurate interpretation?
Does this mean tables that have been made but are still in China will be on hold? Or are any tables already made still following the same delivery timeline?
How does this affect us who purchased through the original campaign? I thought we would have had our tables by now!!!
I have a friend that lives in Canada. Would it be possible to change the shipping address to her and then I can work on getting it from her?
Everyone, just refund at this point. I ended up disputing it with my bank because I ordered on the website in April 2024 with an expected delivery date of May 2024. I emailed them at the beginning of May 2024 and they PROMISED me I was still getting my delivery in May. Two weeks into May, they notified it was pushed to September 2024. I complained and they PROMISED ME AGAIN that the shipping date wont change a second time. Surprise, in October, I was told they were moving it to end of the year. I complained a third time and they said production has been difficult.
January 2025 rolls around and I hear nothing. I complain a fourth time and they said they will release updates soon.
Surprise, since i ordered on the site, I’m being treated dead last and was given a June 2025 delivery date. This was shortly before this tariff announcement where the delivery date is now unknown.
I have proceeded with a charge back, reported them to Paypal for scamming me, and never buying or suggesting a product from them ever again.
