We want to take a moment to update you on the current tariff situation and how it is affecting the Gamefold project.
As many of you may know, the United States recently imposed tariffs of up to 145% on goods imported from China. This has more than doubled the original production cost of each table. The impact has been significant across many industries, and like others, we have been directly affected.
We completely understand your concerns and frustrations, and we want you to know that we hear you.
You might be wondering, “What if you had shipped sooner?” It is a fair question. The honest answer is that we chose to address some early design flaws. Not because we were being overly picky, but because we explored several design solutions that required careful testing and verification before moving forward. While this did delay shipping, we strongly believe it was the right decision to ensure quality.
That said, production has not stopped.
We currently have two containers full of Gamefold tables arriving in the US in the next two weeks, with more on the way. International orders are already shipping out, and we are continuing to produce and hold United States orders as we monitor the evolving tariff situation and wait for more stable conditions.
The current tariff situation is frustrating and unpredictable, but we are exploring every possible solution. This includes alternate sourcing, long-term production strategies, and cost management to keep moving forward without compromising the experience you backed.

Delays…delays…and more delays. Had this project been managed efficiently from the start these tables would have shipped already, I’d have my table that I expected to have over a year ago and these tariffs wouldn’t be an issue.
Instead we wait. And we wait. And all the while you have our money. You’ve even charged us for shipping already, months before the product was ready to ship. This debacle has been nothing but one money grab after another. Smells like scam to me.
I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know, that part where you tell us we need to pay just a little bit more money to get the tables that we already paid for. All the while you’re making interest on the money we paid and God knows what else with it.
Who do I see about getting a refund?
So 145% was announced on April 9th. On April 14 you said you’d eat the cost. You had the relevant information and you made a commitment to your customers. Now 3 days later you’re backpedaling? Solid.
What adout the rest of the world?
So far, I have sat back watching the long drawn-out process patiently. That time is up. You have dragged your heels for long enough. It’s time to deliver on promises that I paid for almost 2 years ago.This is getting beyond a joke. Ship the tables to the rest of the world if you don’t want to take the hit for America’s political choices. No more money. No more excuses. I paid up front in faith, it’s your turn Yarro studios. Either supply or refund.
So for those who ordered in Canada and further international orders, how will this affect us? are they being shipped from
china to your warehouse where they are checked over for order details before shipping? or are they shipped directly to the international country from china? I know we have all eagerly awaited having the tables, But having a tarrif of 125% because of a criminal president is not feasible. that would increase the cost of the table to exponentially higher, and the reason we went with this table was the portability and cost. At that cost you can pay a bit extra for a wooden game table. I understand waiting but at this time if you are not able to be granted an exemption for your business then I think it’s time to explore refunds. Sorry the majority of americans voted for a failed businessman who’s a fascist.
Paid for this table a million years ago and then a few months ago paid for shipping at your request. My husband continues to ask me where is table is ( bought it for his birthday over a year ago !)
Just ship me the table I paid for. For the love of gawd make it end. 🙏 pleassssseeeeee
