Gamefold Production update.

Hello everyone, happy Monday!

First things first. We are full steam ahead.

2000 tables have now left the factory and are in the process of fulfillment. That is reaching 30% of the fulfillment of Kickstarter backers.

Production has now shifted to brown tables, so we’ll have a healthy mix available for international backers. We expect to finish 400 brown tables by next week. Please note that it will take a few more weeks for the tables to arrive at the port and be delivered to your doorstep.

Regarding US tariffs:
•  A full container has already landed in LA and is currently being processed by customs. We’re paying those tariffs out of pocket.
•  Another container is scheduled to arrive in LA in about 10 days.
•  International orders are not affected by US tariffs.

We are working on getting tracking numbers for these as soon as they leave the port. Please monitor your emails.

The factory remains active and is on track to produce 400 tables per week, completing all Kickstarter orders in about 6 weeks and pre-orders in another 4 weeks.

Thanks again for your ongoing patience and support—we’ll keep you updated as things progress.

I got an email sent to spam from dave.i@shipblock.com. Is this an official and accurate email about my table?

Thank you for the answer, information, and expanded explanation on the inner-workings of shipping. I appreciate it.

@Red – At this time, US orders, including those with brown tables, will roll out. We did set aside funds specifically for shipping, and they haven’t been used elsewhere. However, shipping isn’t paid until items are ready to go, since rates fluctuate and can’t be locked in early.

The current issue is the new 145–275% U.S. tariffs, which weren’t in place when we initially charged for shipping. These aren’t typical shipping costs—they’re a massive, unexpected additional fee that we’re working to navigate.

Unfortunately, the tariffs don’t apply based on production dates but are instead triggered when the product arrives at U.S. ports, regardless of when it was made.

We’re prioritizing all backer orders and doing our best to absorb the costs for containers that are already en route.

Thank you for covering the tariffs, that must have been a difficult decision.

When will the UK container head out?
