Gamefold Production update.

Hello everyone, happy Monday!

First things first. We are full steam ahead.

2000 tables have now left the factory and are in the process of fulfillment. That is reaching 30% of the fulfillment of Kickstarter backers.

Production has now shifted to brown tables, so we’ll have a healthy mix available for international backers. We expect to finish 400 brown tables by next week. Please note that it will take a few more weeks for the tables to arrive at the port and be delivered to your doorstep.

Regarding US tariffs:
•  A full container has already landed in LA and is currently being processed by customs. We’re paying those tariffs out of pocket.
•  Another container is scheduled to arrive in LA in about 10 days.
•  International orders are not affected by US tariffs.

We are working on getting tracking numbers for these as soon as they leave the port. Please monitor your emails.

The factory remains active and is on track to produce 400 tables per week, completing all Kickstarter orders in about 6 weeks and pre-orders in another 4 weeks.

Thanks again for your ongoing patience and support—we’ll keep you updated as things progress.

Thank you for covering the tariffs, that must have been a difficult decision.

When will the UK container head out?

US Brown table order here. 2 questions.

1. So what do brown US orders look like as opposed to the brown tables you’re shipping internationally now that are in production? Are they still held?

2. I asked this last update but I know you got a million questions. The tariffs should only apply to NEW orders of things in CHN or NEW shipping costs (things that didn’t have shipping previously paid for). Does this mean that when we paid for shipping in our transaction, that Yarro did not allocate this to shipping and instead stationed the funds elsewhere for the time being (i.e. for production with the intent, later on, to pay for shipping with other received funds)?

This seems to me like that’s the only reason why orders that have already been paid would be having any concerns with the new tariffs. And, if that is the case… I hate to say it, but that’s not on us. As a consumer, it was listed that my funds paid for shipping. If the financers in Yarro decided to use those funds elsewhere instead of setting them aside specifically for paid shipping, then that’s not something that should be passed on to the consumer.

I really wish there was a way we could find out where we were in the production que.

@Derek – Yes, that’s correct. This is our best estimate at the moment.
