We’re pleased to report that production has been progressing smoothly at the factory. The packaging has been approved, and we have since moved into the pilot run phase.
Based on the estimated delivery timeline, we expect to complete the pilot run—shipping 300 orders to backers—by March 24th.
Additionally, we have a team member in China overseeing quality control and shipping to ensure every unit meets our standards before leaving the factory. This extra level of supervision is helping to ensure a smooth transition into full-scale fulfillment.

How will we know if we are pay of the pilot program?

The fact that you have a team member overseeing quality control and shipping is great.
I can’t stress how important this is, I’m sorry to say but your Chinese factory workers will most likely skip steps where they can, and try to save coins even if it’s just 0.002$ per unit so they can pocket the cash themselves.
This is most likely what happen to the flipdie coin balls that, for you was a top notch quality item, and for the customers was spraycoated aluminum.
This isn’t meant to sound racist. I have lived in China and it is the country of facades and shortcomings.
How will you know if you will be part of the pilot run?
Thanks for the update. Very sketchy you want to be able to edit them after posting.. Feels like it’ll be easier for you to backtrack on things promised. Id much rather kickstarter updates than this weird blog.
