Colored coins in hand. Chinese New Year, and Modeling Update.

Colored coins in hand. Chinese New Year, and Modeling Update.

Happy Sunday everyone. Tanner here. Just wanted to start by thanking you all. I am personally grateful for each and every one of you. FlipDie legends backers are the biggest group of Yarro Studios supporters with the most overlap of past campaigns. I seriously couldn’t do it without you. So thank you.

With that said legends has become so special to us. Even though it wasn’t as big of a campaign we have poured our heart and soul into these coins. We have had to come up with totally new manufacturing methods to pull off our vision and we appreciate your patience. Without further ado, I’m stoked to show you these pirate coins up close.

Shot on my phone, in a light box, unedited! (Except the background blurred because it is an auto setting on my phone I cannot figure out)

Don’t these just look incredible?

Now these are the first sets that are done as far as tooling, design, and color.

We have the bronze, silver, and gold pirates ready to go. This week we finalized the 3d file preparation for every single other coin. All 50+ of them. They are also colored. What we are waiting for now is the factory to return from Chinese New Year and create samples like the ones above for each of the new coins.
They can turn this around pretty quickly and once we see these we can make small tweaks if necessary and photograph them and open the pledge manager. We are probably 4 weeks from opening the pledge manager.

We will be able to move much faster on this project so we see a short period between opening the pledge manager and beginning fulfillment.

Thank you.

ps. On our site, we have some crazy fold out space map books. With the fold out pages they were listed for $99 but with MAPBOOK80 you can get as many as you want for $20. We have about 500 left and are trying to make some room for new inventory!
