What Is The Diceomatic? 

Diceomatic (Dice-O-Matic) is a mechanical die that functions like a regular die but with a twist—it's operated by pressing a button, causing a wheel to spin and land on a number (not between numbers). Diceomatic has a machine-tooled interior to provide random fair results every single time. 
Each Diceomatic includes 2 separate Dice.
The Diceomatic is inspired by the 1920s mechanical dice, which provided a quick and discreet option for gambling during the Prohibition era.

Just one press and the Diceomatic rolls your fate. Quick, simple, and reliable every time. Hold the button to let the wheels spin freely. The wheels spin on ball bearings at over 1,200 RPM (Around 20 cycles per second)! Too fast to even see!

What is the difference between the Diceomatic and regular Dice? 

Unlike regular dice, Diceomatic is a mechanical version operated with a button press. It adds a dynamic element to rolling by spinning a wheel and landing on a number, providing a unique and engaging twist to traditional dice rolls. 

Balanced and Fair

Diceomatic incorporates alternating gears to achieve complete randomness. The numbers on the disc are meticulously randomized, and with each button press, the disc undergoes multiple spins. This design ensures that every outcome is genuinely unpredictable, providing users with an extra layer of randomness in their gaming experience. 

The gear ratio between the wheels is different and their weights are different, ensuring each side spins independently for a truly random outcome

1,000 Diceomatic Spin Test Results

We spun the 2D6 Diceomatic 1,000 times and measured the results. There is a near 0 correlation coefficient between the number of pairs rolled and subsequent pairs rolled, indicating a perfectly balanced performance.

Perfectly Random Every Time.
The Diceomatic is designed to ensure absolute fairness and unpredictability in every roll, much like a casino roulette. When activated, it spins the wheel dozens of times, making it impossible to predict or control the outcome. Attempting to manipulate the outcome by timing your press or release does not affect the final result.

Dice Identification & Indicators

To streamline RPG gameplay and enhance clarity, we've introduced dice indicators on the wheels. This feature allows for easy identification of each die type at a glance, using universally recognized RPG dice shape icons.

The wheel-based indicators simplify the dice identification and enable greater customization.

This feature is especially helpful for RPGs, while the 2D6 (mostly for board games) uses traditional pips on the D6 wheels for straightforward recognition.

Note about the Dice Indicators: this feature, inspired by community feedback, is not yet shown in the current images on our page. 

Size of a Credit Card

Diceomatic is as compact as a credit card—perfect for gaming on the go or satisfying fidget moments. Small, versatile, and pocket-friendly, it's ready for action whenever you are.
 

Size, Dimensions & Materials

The Diceomatic can easily fit into your pocket or wallet, with dimensions similar to a credit card but slightly thicker at 5 mm (~0.2 inch). 

Materials of the Diceomatic:
The Diceomatic is made out of machine Aluminium alloy, it is purely mechnical, and needs no batteries or maintenance.
