Diceomatic Troubleshooting Guide
During shipping, it's possible for wheels or bearings to shift slightly. The good news? A few small adjustments can usually fix everything.
We recommend:
- Carefully removing and reattaching the wheels.
- Loosening the bearings to restore smooth spinning.
This quick troubleshooting guide walks you through common fixes that can restore your device's performance.
Step 1: Open the Device Properly
- Loosen all screws completely.
- Flip the device over so the clear window side is facing up.
- Place the screws in a bowl or container to avoid losing them.
- Carefully lift off the top cover with the windows.
⚠️ Important: Do NOT lift the back cover after loosening the screws—you might lose small parts like screws or the spring.

Step 2: Inspect Bearings and Reattach Wheels
- Remove the wheels from the device.
- Take out the small bearings from the center of each wheel.
- Spin the bearings freely by hand to loosen them up.
- Once they spin smoothly, reinsert them into the wheels.

Step 3: Check Internal Wire Screws
Check the screws that hold the internal wire in place. If they’re loose, they can affect how smoothly the wheels spin.

Step 4: Reassemble the Spinner
Once everything is checked and adjusted:
- Reassemble the device.
- Give it a spin to test how it performs!
These simple steps should help restore proper spinning functionality.

I received a full set of Diceomatics, and one side of one of them was much slower than all the rest. I took it apart and it turned out that the wire, which is what starts and stops the spinners, on one side was not fully seated down in the groove. It was only up my probably 0.5mm but that was enough to drag on the spinner and slow it. It was an easy fix to just push it down into the channel it runs in, but the instructions don’t mention it so I thought I would.
This worked for me when adjusting (fixing) my Zoltar.
